BOARD OF DIRECTORS

GARY HALL is a co-founder and President of Hollywood Impact Studios Board of Directors.  In this role, he directs all aspects of the organization’s work.  Gary coordinates the programs, facilities, volunteers and fundraising for Hollywood Impact Studios and the Miracle Mountain camp.  Gary also is a volunteer teacher in the Hollywood Impact Studios “In-Jail” program.  

Gary recently retired as the Senior Vice President heading up post production for TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX TELEVISION. His department oversaw an average of 35 television series and pilots annually.

In addition to working in the television industry, for the past 35+ years, Gary also works part time as a Los Angeles Police OfficerPolice Department with multiple commendations for bravery and service.

CYNDI HALL –  Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Board of Hollywood Impact Studios.  Cyndi is a professional violist and operates a successful retail music and repair business.  Cyndi is also a volunteer in the “In-Jail program”.   Besides her faith, her former job as a social worker drives her passion to help these men transform their lives.

STAN CASIO is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Hollywood Impact Studios, providing significant guidance to the development of programs and external relationships.  As a volunteer with the organization, Stan teaches classes to inmates and parolees and provides a variety of in-kind equipment and resources to the programs.  Stan is also co-founder and president of New Edit, Inc, and Mango Post a leading post-production organization for the television and motion picture industry.

CHARLES ROSELAND is on our board of directors and his head of Studio Operations.  He oversees all operational issues including, electrical, plumbing and has been a great asset in coordinating between Hollywood Impact Studios and the Los Angeles Community College System.   Charles is from our original semester 2 “In-Jail Program” and has now been out of custody for over 11 years. 

LEADERSHIP BOARD

HENRY LOZANO was the deputy assistance to the President of the United States under both President Bill Clinton and George Bush.  He also comes from addiction, as a youth he was addicted to Heroin and served time in Federal Prison.  He also was a CEO of Teen Challenge a drug recovery program.   We are very luck to have him as part of our leadership team. 

MATTHEW FELDMETH is our Chaplain.  He was ordained in 2016, after serving 18 years in prison for burglary.  Matthew brings a special ability to connect with our clients and leads our STRAIGHT & NARROW MEN’S GROUP every Friday night, offering straight forward advise on how stay clean & sober and out of jail.  

ROBERT SCHRUHL is our legal counsel.  He too comes with a great deal of experience.  He recently was the lead counsel for Lockheed-Martin’s contract department.  He is now retired and volunteers for HOLLYWOOD IMPACT STUDIOS

RICHARD BADGER is director of technology for 20TH Television Disney.  Richard is also an ordained pastor who leads our Alumni-Continuum group.  Richard also works with Gary Hall as a police officers for the LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT (Reserve Corps)

BRENT VANVOORST was the lead electrician with Lockheed-Martin in Palmdale-Lancaster.  We are very blessed to have him as volunteer.   His expertise in both construction and electrical contracting has saved us over $100,000 in electrical work at Miracle Mountain.

SUPPORT STAFF

JENNIFER MANGANIELLO works part time for us in a clerical position, besides helping us with these tasks, she comes out of the foster care system.  Jennifer is working to help us understand how best to help this people group since many of our incarcerated men also come out of foster care and were cast aside.  We need to know how best to pick up these pieces.  Someone like Jennifer can best help us with that. 

JUAN A. “Tony” MENDOZA is the onsite Studio Services and Re-Entry Director  for Hollywood Impact Studios’ Miracle Mountain camp in Castaic.  In this role, Tony oversees facilities and operations across the 75-acre property.  Tony is also proud alumni of Hollywood Impact Studios’ “In-Jail Program” in Los Angeles County jail. 

LYNETTE THOMPSON – volunteers with us a bookkeeper.   Lynette operates her own payroll and bookkeeping company “Take Note” that services the television and motion picture music industry.
